I'm still kickin', y'all, which is probably apparent from the commenting on other blogs. :-) As for those who guessed at how I looked different...yes, it's the hair color. I saw come pics of me with the dark hair (which kept getting darker every time I dyed it), and just wasn't feelin' it anymore. So, I got blonde highlights, and I'll be heading back to blonde a bit at a time.
Since I've been gone, I've been to Texas for a week, and brought back a kid with me for ten days. The kid is now back in TX, and tonight is opening night for "Seussical," a musical based on the Dr. Seuss books...and The Princess is not only in the production, but has four costumes, and six total changes. As Pioneer Woman would say "lawsie mercy."
I've become obsessed with scrapbooking. Three-and-a-half days of uninterrupted cropping, and now I can't stop thinking about the pictures and the layouts and the cost (!!!!) of it all. I'm going to an eight hour crop tomorrow, where I will hopefully get more than one page completed. It takes me FOREVER to get my creative juices flowing, but since I've been thinking about it so much, I'm pretty sure I will do well.
I'll be back soon with my Texas pictures, and kid pictures, and Seussical pictures and tea pictures (again!). Because you know that's how I roll.
Have a blessed day!

Wow you have been busy! Congrats to your daugther in the play. I know you are a proud momma!
I'd been wondering about you, (and apologize, for forever ago, I was all "I'll send you an email!"), so I was glad to see you pop up in comments!
You have been busy, but it all sounds like great fun!
Oh, yay! You're still here!!
You had a visitor kiddo for 10 days, sounds like another party! And a play and scrapping? Ah. I'd imagine that's great fun.
Claire,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. How on earth did you find me? And please, come back soon. I will make cookies.
I read your previous post about feeling far away from God and finding your way back...right there with you, sister.
Congrats to your Princess in the play. Post pictures!
Thank you for your comment!
I love scrapbooks... can't get enough of the hoarding, the cutting, the sticking. I'm fairly sure mine are less complicated and creative than yours though.
Hey - Bossy's daughter will be in her local community theater's fall production of Seussical -- she's JoJo!
What is the Princess - as Bossy has now become something of a Seussical expert (not, she should mention, willingly.)
